Ella's fingers at about 2.5 weeks out

I think we might escape without scarring. Once the pigment returns to normal, I don't think anyone will notice unless it is pointed out and hopefully with time there will be no trace.

They look so much better than the last time I saw them. Little kid skin heals so well.

They are looking great! It always amazes me how quickly (and completely) children heal. Thank heavens!!

What happened?

Cathie, while I was using the hose on the vacuum to clean the corners of the family room Ella stuck her fingers under the brush. In a matter of a second or so all of the skin on the back of her fingers was completely decimated down quite a few layers. (There is a picture of it one day out a few posts back.) I was really worried over deep scarring or thick, tight scarring that would inhibit movement of the fingers.
